What an inspirational and energizing Republican National Convention!
While I was watching, I was wondering how many surprising connections I might find in the Family Forest®.
Mitt Romney and many of his ancestors have been extensively networked in the Family Forest® for years, so I wasn’t particularly surprised to see his connections to Clint Eastwood (they are ninth cousins, through their Lathrop/Lothrop ancestors) or to a local topic of interest (Commodore Plant and the Save-The-Biltmore project).
I was surprised to see how closely Ann Romney is connected through family ties to the most unexpected presence at the convention, the American Red Cross.
When I queried the Family Forest®, within seconds I discovered that the woman who stole the show at the convention, the woman who our great nation desperately needs to be our next First Lady, is a fifth cousin four times removed of The Angel of the Battlefield, Clara Barton , the founder of the American Red Cross.
Maybe there’s some great nationally-beneficial synergism to be tapped into from this connection?
